About the role:
The role of a Compliance Professional is to support the business with the execution of compliance controls, analysis of regulatory requirements, and data analysis. The role is based in the Legal and Compliance Department but requires smooth and efficient coordination across various other Ciklum departments and functions. Reporting to the Head of Risk and Compliance.
Responsibilities:
- Perform background checks of candidates and third parties
- Analyze risky transactions within a compliance monitoring
- Conduct risk assessments, develop recommendations upon annual risk assessments, and follow-up mitigation actions
- Conduct compliance awareness training, provide consultations to employees
- Analyze legislative and regulatory documentation on ABC, AML, and sanctions
- Participate in projects related to Compliance initiatives
- Internal audit procedures execution
- Create and update business documentation (Policies, Procedures)
Requirements:
- Experience in third-party due diligence
- Experience in ABC, AML, and sanctions compliance
- Passion for analytical work: gather and analyze information; synthesize diverse information; collect and research data; estimate trends and provide conclusions
- Attention to detail, design thinking
- Highly skilled in MS Excel, and Google Sheets (the ability to create macros is a plus )
- Working knowledge of ISO compliance and risk management standards
- Ability to make credible and articulate presentations (Google Slides) to various levels of senior management
- Oriented to result
- Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills with all levels of the organization, working knowledge of effective interviews techniques
- Upper intermediate English is a must
