Job Purpose
To oversee all aspects of outstations ramp operations to ensure these activities are carried out in accordance with Emirates operating procedures and safety standards, and local and international regulations. Ensure the safe, efficient, and punctual delivery of operations on the ramp so that Emirates' safety and compliance levels are upheld and enhanced, whilst protecting our... reputation, as per the criteria set forth by the Company's safety and security policies, standards and procedures. Plan, organise, monitor, and control all aspects of ramp operations including effective co-ordination of all internal and external departments such as Ground Handling Agents, caterers, fuellers, and various authorities at the airport, to ensure that decisions are made and operations are performed with safety in mind, with continual role modelling of best practice safety behaviours. Ensure a safe and on-time departure for Emirates. 
Job Outline:

Generic

Overall responsibility for all operational units and Ground Service Suppliers (GSPs) on the ramp. Monitor readiness of GSPs to ensure that all resources are available at the required time(s) to perform a safe turnaround. Ensure adequate number of resources are provided, in line with contract/SLA, and used to optimise efficiency.
Interacts with all required stakeholders involved in the aircraft servicing to ensure all safety and operational handling procedures are in place and adhered to, including supervision of all loading and unloading as per Emirates? requirements, whilst observing the critical path or Precision Timing Schedules for the various engagement times.
Responsible for maintaining close working relationships with internal departments (EKAS & EK SkyCargo), Airport Authorities, Police, Security, and third-party contractors to ensure that all parties are informed and aware of changes in ground handling procedures.
Undertake projects and duties from time to time, as advised by the Airport Services Manager, in relation to operational processes, standards and procedures throughout the Emirates Outstation Operation, thereby improving safety, efficiency and quality of the services delivered at the station.

Service Level Agreement (SLA) / Key Performance Indicators (KPI)

Oversee and regularly audit SLA adherence with all airport service providers, ensuring a measurable and deliverable set of standards (KPIs) are maintained and delivered at all times. Establish new standards as/when needed to improve overall performance. Manage and update EKAS ramp operation reporting dashboard, producing and analysing regular reports, identifying trends, benchmark performance etc. and present these to appropriate stakeholders.
Conduct SLA reviews and audits to ensure business partners and stakeholders comply with EKAS operational and quality requirements. Work closely with EKAS HQ, Safety department in executing quality related improvement initiatives identified.

Compliance

Ensure Passenger Service and Ground Operations Manual updates are communicated and adhered to, internally and by relevant GSPs.
Identify potential areas of compliance vulnerability, changes in compliance landscape and risk, undertake regular risk assessments and develop and implement mitigations / corrective action plans for resolution of problematic issues and provide guidance to concerned stakeholders on how to avoid or deal with similar situations in the future.
Participate in compliance & external safety and regulatory audits. Produce audit reports to ensure adherence to requirements and follow up with concerned stakeholders to ensure corrective actions are implemented as needed. Use internal SMS tools such as Coruson and QPulse to track and resolve quality or performance issues.

Investigations

Raise reports if any non-compliance discovered, and lead/participate in investigations of raised issues to identify root cause and develop/implement corrective actions. Support in the investigation of all safety irregularities and work closely with EKAS HQ, Group Safety, Flight Operations (and other departments, as required) during investigations into accidents/incidents, critiquing investigation reports and development and implementation of remedial actions. Promote a culture of continuous safety improvement, with open reporting of safety deficiencies, human factor issues and compliance with local laws to uphold the delivery of safe and secure operations.

Airport Operations. Other : 5+ Years
12 Years schooling or equivalent :
Experience in Ground Ops/Ramp including at least 3 years in a supervisor position with wide body aircraft handling experience Knowledge/skills: - Comprehensive knowledge of airport ramp handling functions. - Ground Handling experience in areas of Aircraft loading, Weight & Balance, Load Control and Documentation.
Knowledge and Training of Dangerous Goods Regulations (Cat 10) - Experience with ALTEA or similar systems - Competent in use of IT systems with knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook (emails) - Fluency in spoken and written English and required local language Safety Sensitive Role: Yes

Job Purpose
Provide existing and potential customers with a superior and consistent quality service, both directly and in conjunction with GHA. Ensure efficient day to day operations within the location by guiding and directing the team and ensure adherence to EK SkyCargo procedures.
Job Outline:

Plan, organise and co-ordinate the operational activities to ensure optimal efficiencies and... productivity, delegating responsibilities to and controlling subordinate staff and GHA/third party contractors as appropriate.
Monitor and oversee the service provided by GHA to ensure it is in line with EK standards, and where there are shortcomings, to address these appropriately and timeously
Resolve problems arising such as delays, disruptions, cargo mishandling and transfer cargo in order to minimise cargo off loadings and maximise utilisation of space available.
Review, collate and compile the cargo documentation for cargo uplifted on flights in accordance with local regulations and company policies
Ensure accurate completion of all post flight activities including dispatch of message, forwarding documentation and completion of station file. Where required, take appropriate action for any irregularities/ discrepancies
Investigate and respond to queries, complaints and claims received from internal and external customers in an efficient and timely manner
Update and maintain Cargo Systems in order to provide the requisite customer service information, including rate filing and facilitate accurate revenue accounting
Supervisory accountabilities:
Motivate, train and give feedback to staff to ensure all tasks are completed on time and to ensure high standard of service is maintained.
Undertake various administration functions including rostering of staff, completion of performance appraisals, reordering of stationery as required.
Supervise the cargo operations as required to ensure all activities are completed safely and in an efficient manner.
Act as the senior in charge where no manager / officer is on duty

Qualifications & Experience

Logistics/Cargo.Air Cargo: Educated to GCSE (or equivalent) with at least 6 years experience in a Cargo Operations environment, including at least 4 years Cargo experience in leading a team. OR Educated to A-Level (or equivalent) with at least 4 years experience in a Cargo Operations environment, including at least 2 years as a Cargo Agent with previous experience in team leading.

Knowledge/skills:

Knowledge of Dangerous Goods regulations and currently holds / has previously held a DG certificate Knowledge of Weight & Balance procedures and Live Animal Regulations PC based skills including Microsoft Word/ Excel/ E-mail Analytical and numeracy skills Fluency in English and the language of the country you are working is essential.
