The candidate will develop and promote KQ regional freighter sales and operations, to deliver freighter profitability while ensuring customer satisfaction, loyalty and retention.

Principal Accountabilities (Responsibility)
Strategy
Deliver the annual regional freighters network to support the cargo department strategy.
Forecast and build freighter
... schedule integrity to deliver set financial and operational targets.
Establish and enforce customer service levels for customer satisfaction, retention and business growth.
New Market Development
Support new regional freighter business by studying and aligning to evolving market dynamics and tactical re-orientation.
Analyze new markets operating data to advise on prospects for new markets.
Actualize freighter operations on new markets while aligning with existing schedules.
Revenue Generation
Maximize the profitability of scheduled and ad-hoc regional freighter services.
Enforce continuous internal improvement of freighter processes, schedules deployment and financial performance for efficiency and profitability.
Budget
Deliver the annual budget of the regional freighters.
Generate weekly, monthly, quarterly, half year and annual freighter management reports and analysis for regional freighter performance evaluation.
Operational
Undertake weekly booking forecasts to ensure optimal freighter schedule build-up.
Liaise with the IOCC Teams (DMO, Crew Scheduling, Technical Resource Planning, etc.) to ensure freighter operations as per schedule.
Monitor the flight revenue and capacity optimization of the freighters.
Liaise with the warehouse teams for cargo build-up.
Liaise with the ramp teams for optimal cargo loading/uplift.
Liaise with the out-station and GHA teams for optimal cargo load uplift, handling and aircraft turn-around.
Monitor and drive corrective action to recover disrupted regional freighter services.
Job Requirements
Qualification (Minimum)
University graduate in business related area of study.
DGR CAT 6.
IATA AVI and Perishables Course.
Cargo Skills and Procedures Course.
Working knowledge of Cargo Enterprise Systems – n-Gen, Altea-Inventory, Altea-Freight Management, AIMS, etc.
Well versed with cargo market intelligence data-mines – World-ACD, CASS, etc.
5 years of work experience in aviation, of which3 years in cargo sales or revenue management (or equivalent) and a minimum 2years in supervisory /management level.
Working knowledge of cargo operations and commercial analytical tools.
Working experience using scheduling and planning tools.
Working knowledge of financial reports.
