Sales Generation & Prospecting


Proactively identify and reach out to potential customers through various channels, including cold calling, email campaigns, social media outreach, and networking events.
Develop and maintain a robust pipeline of leads, nurturing relationships, and guiding prospects through the sales process from initial contact to conversion.

Customer Relationships and Account Management


Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with existing customers, serving as their primary point of contact and trusted advisor for all their travel needs.
Proactively engage with customers to anticipate their evolving needs, identify cross-selling and upselling opportunities, and position Ticketsasa as their preferred partner for future travel.
Advising clients on travel arrangements, e.g. documents required, visas and passports and keeping clients up to date with any changes
Liaising with airline partners to ensure routing and schedules are accurate.
Handle general inquiries for both internal and external customers and develop and maintain customer database to enhance customer loyalty and market intelligence
Providing online assistance for reservation, check in, payments to maximize sales and ensure customer satisfaction
Drafting invoices to ensure timely and accurate payment of issued tickets to both direct clients and corporates.


Must Have Job Requirements:


At least 3 years’ proven working experience as a travel consultant
Degree in hospitality, travel, tourism or related field and must have an IATA diploma
Experience with Sales, CRM, and Travelport (Gallileo) more

Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role in Nairobi County, Kenya for a Strategy Associate at Pesapal. The Strategy Associate will be responsible for tasks such as market research, data analysis, developing strategies, creating presentations, and consulting on various business initiatives within the company.

Preparation of weekly and monthly bank reconciliations for all markets
Ensure all markets conform to treasury guidelines and all transactions are done as per the approved bank mandates
Handle foreign currency transactions and manage currency exchange risk
Analyze and optimize cash management processes for efficiency
Ensure the movement of cash within the... operating countries is in a tax efficient manner
Prepare end-month financial reporting, management reports and revaluation of all accounts and cash balances
Develop and maintain treasury policies and procedures for the group
Provide inputs and advice to company including recommending changes that will maximize revenue and profit

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in finance or accounting option & CPA (K) or ACCA (UK)
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and working with an ERP such as Sage, Microsoft, or SAP
At least 5 years’ experience as an Accountant
Prior experience working in financial services will be an added advantage
Full understanding of accounting principles and standards more
