The Role

The post holder will be responsible for the development and implementation of the organization’s marketing and student recruitment strategy.
You will provide advice and guidance on undergraduate and postgraduate recruitment issues to staff across the organization, including portfolio development using market intelligence.
You will manage the gathering and use of data to inform the... organization’s strategy and contribute to decision-making concerning the organization’s recruitment plan and reputation.
You will promote and raise awareness of the organization’s services with external interest groups by organizing recruitment events and representing the organization.

Principal duties:

To source for prospective students who want to study in the countries that we operate and advise, and support them in their application to the universities
To advise and prepare students for their visa interviews after successful admission
To represent the organization at external recruitment/school and college events within your area of operations
To act as the organization’s representative for recruitment work
To give accurate information, advice, and guidance to prospective undergraduate and postgraduate students about courses/student life in the various universities that we represent
Deliver high-quality presentations about our partner Universities and other aspects of higher education both on and off campus
Plan, deliver, and evaluate workshops that showcase the organization and our partners, ensuring information is accurate, up-to-date, and appropriate for the relevant audience.
To liaise and network with other stakeholders and careers professionals to develop effective relationships to meet recruitment targets
To be involved in the organization and delivery of large-scale recruitment events, such as Open Days, recruitment fairs, and partners delegate visit
To liaise with academic and professional staff within the organization and our partners regarding the delivery of recruitment and conversion activities throughout Nigeria and the UK
To develop, deliver and evaluate online recruitment and conversion activity such as web chats and other social media platforms
To maintain, update and keep abreast of own professional knowledge/sector-wide issues relating to areas particular to the role and to share best practices and train other colleagues as necessary.
To contribute to the evaluation and development of the University’s student recruitment activities
Working with colleagues internally and externally, to identify and select through recruitment and interview a pool of student ambassadors, mentors, and advocates working on outreach activities
Working with colleagues to develop an ongoing training and development program for ambassadors and mentors
Any other duties appropriate to the role as required by the line manager

Qualifications

British Council Training in student recruitment and understanding of student visa application will be a desirable skill

Job Description for Compliance Officer
As a compliance officer, the effective and efficient running of the office including dealing with queries either in person, by telephone, or by email remains a core part of your daily duties. Other duties we will expect you to perform include but are not limited to Maintaining a cordial relationship with other staff and clients of the... organization

Maintaining a positive and professional relationship with our clients including service users and their families
Ensuring that the careline system (Careline Live) is kept up to date. All new service users and staff details are uploaded and kept up to date. Any previous service user or staff details are deactivated (made inactive). This should be checked daily
Staff information like training updates, certificates, Passports and other documents that have expiry dates are kept up to date to prevent any of them from going out of date before their due date. This should be done regularly
Monitor the call monitoring system to ensure that staff is logging in and out. This should be done daily. Any problems should be reported to the deputy manager
Ensure that at least 6 service users are contacted weekly for the weekly client review
Ensure that all service users’ log books are audited and kept up to date. Necessary actions are followed up
Ensure that all service users’ MARs are audited and kept up to date. Necessary actions are followed up
Ensure that you contribute to the general cleanliness of the office
Ensure that you contribute to promoting the positive image of the organization
Carry out service users’ reviews when assigned
Take part in the weekend on-call rota
Participate in staff weekly meetings
Attend any training that is deemed fit for your position by your manager
Submit a weekly target to the deputy manager by Monday of each week
Take on any responsibilities asked by the manager as long as it is within reasonable demand

Specific things to do

Auditing of all log books of the organization in all local authorities. This should be done regularly to ensure that any issues are picked up and dealt with swiftly
Auditing all of the organization’s MAR charts
Checking on Careline that staff are logging in and out properly and taking appropriate action if this is not the case
Complete and submit daily, weekly, and monthly reports of staff activities in the following areas – punctuality, completion of care notes, logins, and others
Carry out any other Ad hoc duties as  required by the business/management

Qualifications and Skills:

A helpful and solution-bearing approach
Excellent leadership skills
Strong IT Skills (Microsoft Office and Outlook)
Excellent Communication skills
Strong time management and organization
Must possess an HND or Bachelor’s degree as the minimum
Previous work experience with analysis skills
