Qualification, Experience, and Skills Minimum Qualifications: 

Bachelor’s Degree in any Business Course. A Bachelor’s degree/ Diploma in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering is an added advantage Experience Required 
Minimum 3 years Experience in Compressor sales. 
Proven sales Experience in dealing with sales of Compressors is a MUST.  
Experience in selling compressors to Petro stations, hospitals, Factories, and, Manufacturing firms. 
A track record of meeting sales targets consistently. 
Extensive networks within the manufacturing sector, factories, and Petro stations are an added advantage.

Description

We are looking for a dedicated and experienced IT Officer to oversee and manage the information technology operations within a healthcare facility. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of IT systems and implementing new technologies to improve patient care and hospital efficiency. Responsibilities

Network and Systems Administration: Ensure that the hospital’s network, servers, and databases are running efficiently and securely. This includes managing data storage systems, ensuring high availability, and maintaining backups.
Hardware and Software Maintenance: Oversee the procurement, installation, and maintenance of hardware (like computers, servers, and medical devices) and software applications used throughout the hospital.
Data Protection: Implement cybersecurity measures to protect patient data and other sensitive information from breaches. This involves regular security audits, implementing encryption, educating staff on best practices, and developing disaster recovery and business continuity plans.
Compliance: Ensure that the hospital’s IT systems comply with relevant regulations and standards for data protection and patient privacy.
Develop and implement IT policies and procedures while also collaborating with other departments to understand their technology needs
Technical Support: Provide Technical support to hospital staff for any IT-related issues, ensuring that systems are running smoothly and that problems are resolved quickly to avoid disruptions in patient care.

Training:

Organize and conduct training sessions on New Technologies for hospital staff and ensure they are proficient in using IT systems and understand security protocols.
Develop and manage the IT budget.
Implement new technologies to improve patient care and hospital efficiency.
Manage IT projects from inception to completion.
Stay up-to-date with the latest technology trends in the healthcare industry.
Ensure the hospital's IT infrastructure is scalable and adaptable to future needs.
Prepare and present reports on IT performance and initiatives to hospital leadership.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in IT management, preferably in a healthcare setting.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Ensure that engineering strategies and processes are in place to meet business objectives and operational needs in terms of price, quality and delivery targets, which enables the company to function and compete effectively in the market.
Ensure implementation of Safety and Standards procedures to support the company strategic plan.
Keeps equipment operational by coordinating maintenance and repair services; following manufacturer’s instructions and established procedures
Developing and managing engineering standards and procedures to effectively utilize equipment and materials to maximize production and maintain product quality
Lead and manage the installation and commissioning of new machines including monitoring performance and carrying out corrective measures
Monitoring engineering cost by proper utilization of resources in the plant and budgetary control.
Performing engineering analysis and ensuring lowest machine energy and spares consumption reported to ensure corrective action is taken to achieve overall objectives.
Ensure all pressure vassal’s equipment’s inspection to be followed as per schedule.
Ensure optimal application of technology and engineering resources to meet product development and/or customer requirements, per the product and/or marketing requirements in terms of reduced equipment breakdowns.
Establish, document, implement and monitor equipment maintenance schedules in liaison with production while ensuring machine, equipment and process safety for optimum efficiency.
Report on engineering activities on a regular basis to the Senior Management team, ensuring accurate and timely reporting of the relevant Key Performance Indicators.
Drive Key Performance Indicators across all areas of the Engineering function to ensure that all projects are delivered on cost and on time to the highest quality standards.
Provide leadership to Engineering department, coach, mentor, develop direct reports, and manage a high performing team that delivers continuous improvement, added value and cost reductions.

REQUIREMENTS

Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Business Management/Business Administration.
3 to 4 years’ experience in sales, preferably in insurance or fumigation industry.
Aggressive and result oriented with good communication skills.
Valid driving license with at least 3 years’ experience.
Ability to drive in Nakuru and its environs.
