KEY RESPONSIBLITIES


Carry out pre-admission assessments for the rescued children to explore their needs.
Document children’s information and case histories in both physical and electronic files.
Trace families of rescued children and conduct family needs assessments.
Prepare and implement individual care plans for the children.
Develop and execute individual exit strategies to... facilitate re-integration of children with their families.
Conduct follow up home and school visits after re-integration.
Mentor the children by teaching them life skills and positive behaviour.
Maintain discipline among children by handling and reporting indiscipline cases to the Centre Manger.
Sensitize caregivers, parents and guardians on the child protection and responsible parenting.
To facilitate individual and group counselling sessions for children and guardian.
Develop and maintain a proper record keeping system for easy retrieval and sustenance of the institutional memory.


Requirements


Must be a born-again, mature Christian who conforms to the CITAM statement of faith.
At least three years’ experience in a similar role.
Minimum Bachelor’s degree in social work community development/ social work/ Counselling or its equivalent from a reputable university.
Effective communication & report writing skills and fluent in oral and written English and Kiswahili.
Technology savvy.

KEY RESPONSIBLITIES


Diagnose and treat minor illnesses among children and maintain the records.
Develop health plans for children with medical conditions.
Establish the vaccination status for all the children and ensure they get mandatory MOH vaccinations.
Ensure Centre/ School environment is safe for children and school staff to prevent communicable diseases
Accompany children to... hospitals and write referrals to pediatricians and other health specialists.
Advise other staff and parents on handling children with sensitive medical cases where necessary.
Develop a supplemental diet for children with nutritional deficiencies or special medical conditions and ensure it’s adhered to.
Ensure prompt adherence in administering prescribed medication and attending medical appointments.
Sensitize the Centre/school community on emerging health issues.
First aid champion to save lives of children and staff in an emergency situation.
Develop annual work plans, procurement plans and budget for the clinic.
Provide psychological counselling to the Children and parents where applicable.


Requirements


Must be a born-again, mature Christian who conforms to the CITAM statement of faith.
Must be a Kenya Registered Nurse with a valid practice license from the nursing council of Kenya and in good standing.
Minimum Diploma in Nursing from a reputable and recognized university.
KCPA accreditation will be an added advantage.
Minimum 3 years of continuous practice.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Finance Perspective

Monitor and track unit budgets and prepare quarterly administrative report and advise the unit head.
Advise the head of unit on the approved operational and capex budgets on the allocation to respective accounts.
Banking and accounting for respective unit revenues.
Reconciliation of respective Units expenditure on the... ERP.

Administration

Preparation of financial and administrative reports for review, discussion and decision making at the unit’s / assembly weekly meetings.
Ensuring proper utilization and timely maintenance of assets in the respective CITAM unit.
Ensuring the assembly premises are clean, safe and secure for use.
Implementation of special projects as and when may be authorized by CITAM leadership.

Cash Management

Management of petty cash as per the provisions of the Finance policy.
Facilitation of ministry activities and reconciliation of imprests. 

Operations and Logistics

Maintain the CITAM Assembly/ Unit asset register and stock cards
Development of unit procurement plans in adherence to the CITAM procurement policy.
Co-ordination of the units’ operations and logistics for prompt ministry facilitation.

Supervision

Supervising the outsourced unit workers.
Developing annual work plans and conducting performances appraisals for the direct reports.

Requirements
QUALIFICATIONS

Be a born-again mature Christian who conforms with the CITAM Statement of Faith.
Degree in a Business-related course from a reputable institution of learning (BCOM/BBM/BBA) -Finance or Accounting option
At least CPA II or its equivalent.
At least 4 years’ relevant experience in a similar or equivalent role.
Hands on Knowledge with ERP preferably Sage X3.
Experience working with a parachurch or a church organization are an added advantage.

Hands on experience with HRIMS systems.
