This is a contractual on-site role as a Quality Control Officer at Bureau Veritas Uganda Ltd based in Kampala. The Quality Control Officer will be responsible for day-to-day quality control tasks, including conducting inspections, tests, and analyses to ensure compliance with Client specifications, sector standards and regulations. Conduct regular quality control inspections on coffee beans and related activities in line with Customer specifications and industrial standards.
Sampling and basic quality assessments
Monitor and maintain quality standards during reception of coffee at designated sites.
Collaborate with sourcing teams to select high-quality coffee beans.
Ensure that the sourcing teams implement and adhere to the highest quality control procedures and protocols.
Document and report on quality findings and issues.
Train and mentor staff on quality control practices and standards.
Stay updated with industry trends and best practices in coffee quality control. more
