Duties and Responsibilities

The primary responsibility of the Cinema Head of Operations is to oversee all operational aspects of the facility and ensure a top notch cinema experience for all customers.
Responsible for the effective and efficient smooth day-to-day control of activities of all cinema facilities includingthe box office, concession stands, restrooms, lobbies/foyer and... auditorium.
Trains, appraise and supervise staff.
Create and manage staff schedules to ensure adequate coverage especially during peak movie yimes and special events
Ensures a high level of customer service,address customer complaints or issues and maintain a welcome and safe environment for all customers.
Monitor the inventory and ordering for concessions and merchandise.
Upholds Genesis’s business practice standard and follow all established company policies and procedures.
Analyze attendance,revenue and customer feedback to make data driven decisions toimprove operations
Develop strategies to increase attendance and revenue
Schedules movies into the appropriate time slots (leaving sufficient time intervals between movies to allow quick cleaning of theatres) and the appropriate capacity theatres with a view to optimizing revenue generated.
Is acutely conscious of the Cinema’s monthly financial target and does everything and anything possible to achieve the financial target.
Organize and oversee special events,premieres and private screenings.

Qualification and Experience

Qualification: B.Sc Degree or HND in Business Management, Hospitality or related field (preferred).
3-5 years experience in Cinema management or a similar role (Compulsory)
Exceptional customer service skills.
Good interpersonal and Communication skills and customer service abilities
Must be a good Team player with excellent ability to multi-tasking and able to adapt to varying situations.
Creative problem solving skills
Flexibility to work evenings, weekends and holidays.

Duties and Responsibilities

Sending of daily bank balances.
Cash sales confirmation form all site banks.
Posting of all Head Office banks posting on SAGE.
Relate with sites on film hire, sales (Cash and POS), same from banks and all tax related issues except those being handled by payables directly.
Sending of bank statements to the Group from time to time as well as relating with Auditors... on any required documents/correspondence.
Handling of Head Office expenses (petty and major).
Filling of annual returns for all sites (FIRS & LIRS).
Monthly sales report on the first of every month.
Conduct - Analysis, reports and invoices.
Maintain complete and accurate record keeping.
Ensure resolution of differences.
Liaise between front-end system owners and General Accounting team.
Review journal entries and compile account reconciliations for all site banks and SAGE.
Support period end close processes.
Computation and filing for payments of VAT & WHT on or before 21st of every month.
Support HOA on monthly financial report and annual budget.
Sending of loan status to DGM Finance monthly.
Computation and payment of Staff pension monthly.

Duties and Responsibilities

Ensure proper, accurate, timely and relevant financial records are maintained.
Ensure complete transaction processing on the Accounting Software on a Real-time basis.
Maintain adequate monitoring, filling and control over all source documents relating to the Site operations.
Be conversant with the cash machines (Tapos Tills) operations and reports to ensure... effective monitoring of the completeness and accuracy of transactions at the Site.
Monitor and report the Site’s Revenue receipts (Daily Sales Analysis), cost of sales and expenses.
Monitor and manage all cash receipts and carry out daily bank lodgments before 11am each working day.
Coordinate and monitor payroll issues, as it affects your Site personnel including surcharges.
Monitor to ensure efficient Inventory Management for the Site.
Review and ensure accuracy and completeness of all financially related Reports emanating and/or related to your Site (Stock Report, Close-Out, etc).
Maintain and manage the Fixed Assets Register for the Site.
Carry out reconciliations between the Cost of sales reported by the Stock Controller and the actual consumptions reflected in the Financial Report based on the Site’s Opening Inventory, Purchases and Closing Stock.
Efficient management of the Site’s Imprest, Change Float and expenses.
Efficient Treasury Management for the Site.
Monitor to ensure the efficient management of the Site’s Payables and Receivables.
Ensure proper, accurate, timely and relevant financial records are maintained.
Drive Revenue & Cost Efficiency; and ensure processes & procedures are followed in the day to day operations.
Ensure that there are duly authorized documentary approvals for all payments and every data that is to be entered into the Site’s Account data base.
