RESPONSIBILITIES
The successful incumbent will play a crucial role in driving our people strategy, aligning HR policies with our business objectives, and ensuring HR excellence throughout the organization.

Duties will include the following:

Developing and implementing HR strategies to attract, develop, and retain a skilled and motivated workforce.
Driving employee engagement initiatives, including onboarding and role clarity.
Understanding the business and contributing to the people strategy of the country cluster and represented business units/operating divisions.
Developing country cluster-specific strategic guidelines and company rules aligned with market area and global requirements.
Providing guidance and support in disciplinary and grievance procedures.
Ensuring compliance with statutory body requirements and managing all statutory deductions.
Managing local employee insurable benefits and monitoring country cluster leave liabilities.
Actively representing BASF's interests and upholding corporate values and principles.

QUALIFICATIONS

Undergraduate degree in Business or Social Sciences and Diploma in HR Management, HR Development, or Organizational Development
Full Member of the Institute of Human Resources Management (IHRM)
3-5 years of experience in a similar HR role
Excellent communication, presentation, listening, and negotiation skills
Excellent understanding of relevant legislation
