Job Responsibilities

Implementing, the Authority’s ICT policies, plans and strategies; 
Re-assessing and re-defining Authority’s wide standards in hardware, software and ICT services;
Undertaking feasibility studies; 
Preparing progress reports of the systems development; 
Evaluating systems and ensuring adherence to established ICT Standards; 
Planning, monitoring and evaluating program/activities within an Information Communication Technology department;
Liaising with user departments to ensure effective maintenance of Information Communication Technology equipment; 
Evaluating hardware maintenance feasibility studies and detailed specifications before implementation; and 
Supervising, guiding, appraising and developing staff working under him or her.

Job Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in any of the following disciplines: - InformationTechnology (IT), Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Physics, or any other ICT related discipline with a bias in Information Communication Technology
Master’s degree in any of the following disciplines: - InformationTechnology (IT), Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Physics, or any other ICT related discipline with a bias in Information Communication Technology
Certificate in any of the following field: - MCSE/MCITP (Microsoft CertifiedSystems Engineer/ Microsoft Certified IT Professional) or CCNA/ N+(Cisco Certified Network Associate/Network+);
A minimum period of ten (10) years relevant work experience and at least three (3) years in a management role in the Public Service or Private Sector
Management course lasting not less than four (4) weeks from a recognized institution;
Good Communication skills;
Shown merit and ability as reflected in the work performance and results;
