Job Purpose:
Reporting to the Pharma Sales Lead, you will be responsible for generating prescriptions in your assigned geographic areas by identifying leads, educating prospects on products through calls, training, and product presentations as well as providing existing customers with exceptional support. Further, you will increase the visibility and awareness of our company’s pharmaceutical and healthcare products thus maximizing sales growth.
Your Responsibilities:

Meet your sales targets within the agreed timelines.
Pitch and sell pharma products to prospective customers (retail pharmacies, health facilities, and wholesale shops)ensuring that those territories are constantly replenished.
Emphasize product features based on analysis of customers’ needs and technical knowledge of product capabilities and limitations.
Provide complete and appropriate solutions for every customer to boost top-line revenue and growth, customer acquisition levels, and profitability.
Promote and sell Kasha pharma products at customer locations, identify sales leads in the area allocated, and keep track of sales records and timely collection.
Research competitors' medications and their respective market performance. Expedite the resolution of customer problems and complaints to maximize customer satisfaction/retention.
Continuously keep abreast of best practices and pharma trends and feed this information back to the business to enhance overall pharma performance.
Analyze the territory/market potential, track sales, and status reports prioritizing territories and prospective clients as well as address problem areas.
Ensure product availability in your pharmacies, at least 80% of your product portfolio to be stocked per outlet in your territory, and continuous communication feedback channel with your clientele.
Conduct basic training in self-test kits and other pharma commodities with the support of the Kasha pharmacists to translate to sales.
Support the health and platform services department in creating a market for new/existing pharma products.
Continuously improve own performance through requesting and applying feedback from the line manager and sharing the bottlenecks for redressal.

Role Requirements:

You are a holder of a Diploma/Degree in Pharmacy or a science-related field from an accredited institution.
A Diploma/Degree in Sales and Marketing will be a distinct advantage.
You have a minimum of 2 years of proven success in pharma sales selling directly to pharmacies or distributors.
Holders of a Medical Representative Certificate from the Pharmaceutical Society of Kenya will be prioritized.
You possess an in-depth knowledge of the market and the changing environment of the pharma business operations.
