As a Merchandiser, you will be responsible for analysing data to support our product selection, pricing strategies and inventory management. This position requires advanced proficiency in Excel and the ability to work with large data sets

Responsibilities: 

Analyse sales trends, inventory levels, and other data to determine optimal product selection and pricing strategies.
Utilise data to make recommendations for product promotions, markdowns, and inventory management.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing and supply chain, to develop and execute merchandising plans.
Monitor product performance and make adjustments as necessary to achieve sales targets.
Develop and maintain reporting tools to track key performance indicators and provide actionable insights to management.
Continuously improve processes and methodologies to optimize efficiency and accuracy of merchandising operations.

Qualifications: 

Bachelor’s degree in business, Statistics, or a related field
3+ years of experience in merchandising, retail analytics, or a related field
Advanced proficiency in Excel, including pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, and macros.
Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI preferred.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a detail-oriented mindset
Excellent communication skills with the ability to present complex data in a clear and concise
