About the Opportunity
We are currently in search of a proficient Team Leader for Tours. This individual will oversee and guide a team of tour consultants, ensuring the delivery of high service standards by addressing tour booking concerns, providing support in troubleshooting, and representing the company in relevant markets to facilitate successful operations.
Specific responsibility/day-to-day activities

Responsible for the Tour Consultants in their market cluster in terms of team management.
Acknowledge agents’ emails, and prepare accurate and detailed tour proposals on time. 
Ensure bookings are captured correctly and all services are booked. 
Preparation of booking documentation as per the set guidelines 
Ensure costs are captured correctly; files are invoiced, and have correct margins. 

Minimum requirements

Relevant degree-level education preferably in Tourism and Hospitality Sectors.
Minimum of 4 years’ experience in a similar role.
Commercial awareness and strong understanding of customers, market dynamics, and requirements of East Africa Tourism Products
Problem solving & leadership skills
Strong communication skills both in verbal and written formats
Strong Customer Service and Excellent interpersonal skills across all levels
ICT Proficient
Proficiency in English and any other Foreign language will be an advantage.
