Duties and responsibilities:

This is an online and part-time assignment (50%). The consultant’s main responsibility will be to support the activities of UN-Habitat’s SDG localization team, specifically on expanding normative work on Multilevel Governance for the SDGs. The consultant will be responsible for the following tasks:
Review and updated the content of the Multilevel Governance for the SDGs global research to feed into a policy brief.
Development of the content for a comprehensive hands-on training package on Multilevel Governance for the SDGs.
Providing technical expertise to the team for the development of technical tools on Multilevel for the SDGs.

Qualifications/special skills

Masters or Equivalent in sustainable development, international relations, social and political affairs, urban planning, or other relevant area is required.
A minimum of two (2) years of relevant working experience on research and policy development on issues related to gobernance and sustainable development is required.
