Job Purpose
• Supervise and carry out preventive and corrective maintenance of prevent their failure and avert disruption of operations, within the framework of the policies and work procedures of the company
Principal Accountabilities
• Assist in drawing up and implementing preventive maintenance schedule of plant machinery and equipment, to avoid disruption to production operations • Co-ordinate and supervise activities on Electrical Maintenance Programme schedules and recommend changes to improve plant and equipment reliability including monitoring and measuring instruments • Co-ordinate and supervise all electrical maintenance works to ensure safety, reliability, meeting required specifications and standards for efficient operation of production plant equipment • Supervise the repair and maintenance of equipment relating to the supply of utility services, i.e Electricity, LP Gas, Steam Compressed Air, Fresh water, Oil Jetty equipment etc • Adopt modern technologies in the electrical maintenance of plant equipment to improve overall plant performance and capacity • Train and develop subordinate staff to continuously improve on their competencies and efficiency in their work output
Qualification Required & Experience
• BSc Electrical/Electronic Engineering • 5 years of industrial experience • In-depth knowledge of Electrical/Electronic Engineering and appreciable knowledge in Mechanical Engineering • A good knowledge in PLC systems • IT literate, analytical, People Leadership and Teambuilding skills • Knowledge in quality, occupational health & safety and environmental ISO management systems will be an advantage
