The MEAL Manager will lead and coordinate the Monitoring and Evaluation activities for the Seed Effect Uganda SFL Program. S/he is expected to have the experience and capabilities necessary to lead the measurement, monitoring, evaluation, and learning of the project’s activities while ensuring that all program components are results-oriented and that all project team members are focused on achieving targets -in all areas of operation. S/he will be responsible for providing technical leadership in the area of Monitoring and Evaluation, developing the result measurement and management systems, approach, and tools, and leading the development of results chains and indicators for the program. S/he will be responsible for providing the program management team with tools to effectively track project progress and achievements and to provide mid-term and end–of–project evaluations with sufficient information to assess the program’s success.

Develop and implement a robust monitoring and evaluation system that will ensure tracking of project results at different levels (outputs, outcomes, and impact).
Work with the operation/program team to ensure the collection of accurate and appropriate data needed for an effective MEAL system, which will be utilized in monitoring strengths, weaknesses, and gaps in existing projects/ programs and services, and for reporting.
Review existing data collection tools for the current programs.
Incorporate field and technical team feedback to ensure the continuous improvement of data management systems within Seed Effect Uganda.
Timely review of salesforces and follow up on errors with the Field team to ensure accuracy.
Lead role in overseeing quality and accurate data collection, storage, analysis, and reporting, ensuring that data collected is audit-worthy
