ABOUT THE JOB:   
The Child Case Worker is responsible for identifying children in need of support and making referral for the required services based on the assessment conducted on the child. This role involves assessing the needs of children, developing and implementing individualized care plans, and coordinating with various service providers to deliver comprehensive support.  
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:  
The Child Case Worker will be responsible for the following, including those not listed but are extensions of those expressly stated:  

 Provide individually tailored comprehensive Child Protection Case Management Services to Unaccompanied, Separated, and Other Vulnerable Children in line with the Case Management Standard Operating Procedures. 
Receive and provide referral services for specialized case management services. 
Ensure the confidentiality of the information collected during the case management services and input the information on the CPIMS+. 
Establish a harmonious working environment with a wide range of stakeholders more, specifically, children, beneficiaries, service providers, community leaders, religious leaders, and local government authorities. 
Undertake home visits to families of children receiving case management services  
Respect confidentiality and follow ethical guidelines/ standards 
Prepare and share with line manager monitoring reports/updates 
Participate in Case conferences for the management of complex cases  
Maintain the highest standards of professional conduct and ensure actions do not put children at risks 

Required Skills and Competencies:  

Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport and trust with children and families. 
Excellent organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple cases and priorities effectively. 
Proficiency in case management software and Microsoft Office Suite. 
Ability to handle complex and sensitive situations with empathy and professionalism. 

Qualification:  

Bachelor's degree in social work, Child Development, Psychology, or a related field. (Master’s degree preferred). 
Relevant certification or licensure. 
Proven experience (at least 2 years) working with children and families in a case management or social work role.
