Our client, a big plywood factory, is actively seeking reliable and CNC Machine Operators to join their team. 

THE JOB


As a CNC Machine Operator, you will set up, maintain, and operate computer numerical control (CNC) woodworking machines to perform precision manufacturing tasks. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, has a strong mechanical aptitude, and is committed to producing high-quality products according to specifications.


Key Responsibilities

Machine Operation


Operate CNC machines to produce parts 
Start and stop machine operations as required.
Adjust machine settings to ensure accuracy and consistency.


Setup and Maintenance


Prepare and set up CNC machines for daily operations.
Load raw materials and unload finished products.
Perform routine maintenance and report any malfunctions or required repairs.


Quality Control


Measure and inspect finished products using precision instruments (e.g., calipers, micrometers) to ensure compliance with specifications.
Identify and troubleshoot production defects or deviations.
Maintain accurate records of production and inspection results.


Programming and Calibration


Make program adjustments for optimization or corrective purposes.
Collaborate with engineers or programmers to refine production processes.


Safety and Compliance


Follow all safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized workspace.
Comply with company policies, procedures, and quality standards.


Requirements


High school diploma or equivalent; technical training in machining or related field is preferred.
Proven experience as a CNC machine operator or similar role.
Familiarity with CNC programming and CAD/CAM software.
Proficiency with measuring tools (e.g., calipers, micrometers, gauges).
Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work independently or in a team environment.
