Duties and Responsibilities

Ensure correct interpretation and implementation of human resource regulations relating to pensions, human resource information systems, labour laws and other statutes relating to human resource management
Ensure good employee relations
Ensure bonding of public servants who proceed for training.
Provide Technical Support Human Resource Development Officers.
Undertake to revise HRD policies.
Ensure compliance with the Training Bond Policy.
Participate in the planning and implementation of sectional programme
Analyse the staffing levels and make proposals for succession planning
Analyse utilization of human resources and advising on proper deployment
Analyse staff progression and makes proposals for career development
Coordinate, up-dating and maintenance of the Human Resource Development database
Analyse Human Resource Management issues emanating from County ministries/ Departments and initiates appropriate action
Participate in the organization, monitoring and evaluation of training programmes

Requirements for Appointment

Kenyan Citizen
Bachelor degree in Human Resource Management/Development/Business Administration/ Education or any social science from a recognized institution in Kenya
Diploma/Post Graduate Diploma/ Higher National Diploma in Human Resource Management/ Personnel Management/ Labour Studies or equivalent and relevant qualification from a recognized institution.
Master’s degree in a relevant field will be an added advantage
Certificate in management course lasting not less than four (4) weeks or equivalent qualification from a recognized institution
