Job Description


Following standard recipes and portion control to maintain consistency .
Following health and safety regulations, including food handling and storage.
Maintaining proper sanitation of kitchen equipment and workstations.
Assisting in the daily setup and breakdown of the kitchen, including cleaning, organizing, and maintaining kitchen equipment. 
Monitoring stock levels and informing the Head Cook of any shortages or necessary replenishments. 
Working collaboratively with other kitchen staffs to ensure that meals are prepared and served on time. 
Maintaining the highest standards of hygiene and food safety, ensuring compliance with health regulations and school policies. 
Monitoring portions to ensure they align with the school's standards and dietary requirements.  


Job Requirements


Diploma in Catering, food production or a related field.
Valid health certificate. 
Strong organizational and time management skills. 
Proficiency in food preparation and cooking techniques
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices
