The CIWHIN+ Project builds on the existing structures for fistula care and treatment in Katsina State and the FCT, including routine activities in Kebbi, Zamfara and Sokoto states to improve access to quality and inclusive maternal and newborn health, and psychosocial services using designated health facilities. The new phase is integrating primarily components of community driven advocacy efforts as a sustainable approach to engendering government ownership, economic empowerment options for survivors of fistula, male involvement and inclusion advisory for improved systems to promote inclusive practices across targeted health facilities and at SFHF.
