Job Description

The Driver at Yardoak will play a crucial role in ensuring the timely delivery of materials, components, and finished products to various locations, as well as supporting internal logistics within the factory.
The ideal candidate will possess a valid driver's license, a clean driving record, and excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities

Safely operate company vehicles, including trucks and vans, to transport materials, furniture components, and finished products to designated locations.
Load and unload materials using appropriate lifting and handling techniques, ensuring that products are securely strapped and protected during transportation.
Plan delivery routes efficiently to minimize travel time and fuel consumption, while also considering factors such as traffic conditions and customer delivery schedules.
Inspect vehicles before and after each trip, checking for any mechanical issues or damage and reporting them promptly to the maintenance department.
Assist with internal logistics within the factory, including moving materials between production areas, organizing inventory in the warehouse, and supporting other departments as needed.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent.
Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
Previous experience as a driver.
