Responsibilities



General and Leadership

Lead and manage a team of sales representatives to meet and exceed sales targets.
Provide sales forecasts and regular sales performance reports to senior management.
Attend industry events, conferences, and meetings to stay informed about industry trends and competitive landscape.
Train and mentor sales representatives to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their roles effectively.
Willingness to travel as/when required.
Conduct the sales department performance appraisals.

Business Development

Establishing sales objectives by forecasting and developing monthly, quarterly and annual sales quotas; projecting expected sales numbers.
Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve revenue growth and expand customer base.
Work closely with the BDR and sales associates team to correctly map and secure large accounts.
Review sales process quality and prioritize opportunities for improvement.
Meeting with the sales team on a weekly basis to assess their individual performance against KPI’s.
Developing and implementing an effective sales pipeline as well as lead tracking process.
Develop business portfolio for the various territories according to the agreed market development strategy.
Identify new business opportunities and develop plans to capitalize on them.

Client relationship management

Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential customers.
Develop customer retention strategies
Solicit customer feedback regularly from the sales team and give recommendations for improvement of service delivery.
Develop strong ties with key customers and accounts and be proactive in understanding the trends and issues likely to impact the market.
Hold regular meetings with the key decision makers.

Competitor Analysis

Monitor and report on market and competitor activities and provide relevant reports on the trends and information for decision making.
Keep up to date with recent market and industry trends, competitors, and leading customer strategies.
Develop delivery strategies to counter competition.
Work closely with marketing and product development teams to ensure alignment on sales strategies and messaging.

Market Research

Keeping a close eye on the market and advising management appropriately on key areas of pitching solutions.
Collate all information on Market and technology research from all the territories.
Research new ways to improve delivery performance, deliver service and problem solving.
Performs other job-related duties as necessary that may be added/ modified from time to-time.

Requirements

Minimum of 10+ years working experience in a busy high target sales department with an additional 3+ years as a Sales Manager preferably selling CRM Solutions.
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Sales and Marketing, or related field.
Strategic account management and relationships.
Ability to create sales plans and processes.
Market Intelligence.
Training, coaching and strong leadership.
Forecasting sales and creating reports.
Project management.
Deal closing strategy and presentation skills.
Proficiency in selling CRM software solutions is an added advantage.
