Role Description
Daily responsibilities are as follows:

Growth Strategy and Implementation 

As the Head of Car Care at Peach Cars, you will be responsible for building and implementing the team’s commercial plan and rolling out growth strategies in current and new markets, by amplifying the things that we can do differently/better in the market. 
You will be responsible for engaging internal and external partners in research for the best practices and regulatory policies in the automotive industry that should be implemented.  
Owning the business development process as well as building out a funnel of businesses in the Car Care Team e.g fleet management contracts with SMEs,  
Ensuring the team has the resources needed to execute on both daily efforts as well as to achieve growth ambitions. For example gathering the right resources to build a semi-permanent garage that would house a hydraulic lift, as well as a camera array that would enable the team to work toward an automated inspection center
Contribute to the future of Peach Cars by collaborating on technical innovations and inventions, problem solving for challenges and taking advantage of opportunities.    


Project Management 

Manage current and new projects: from research, project design, implementation and iterations (as needed). 
Create proper systems to streamline Car Care team processes. Processes such as car diagnosis, quality checks, customer communication, mechanical works, pricing and souring of spare parts.


Business Management 

Ensure there are seamless operations in inventory management  - this will include forecasting on what spare parts are needed, identifying the right suppliers, sourcing for the products and managing the inventory internally. 
Mapping out the team’s expected performance by setting team OKRs to guide business and people management.


Team Management and leadership

Oversee overall duties of all team members including tooling, personnel career growth, budgeting and collaboration with other teams, with assistance from the team Supervisor.
Setting KPIs to guide business and people management, and scoping the roles and responsibilities for new hires
As a Head of Car Care you will be expected to step up and contribute to other areas of the business apart from your own with senior leadership and other stakeholders. 



JOB EXPERIENCE
Requirements
Candidate should: 

Have excellent communication skills, both written and spoken
Have a minimum of 7 years of experience with unique experience in engineering, management and sales.
Be highly proactive and have ability to find solutions  
Have technical knowledge in the automotive industry
Have great leadership and problem solving skills
