We are seeking dynamic and results-driven Credit Sales Officers to join our team on behalf of a client. The Credit Sales Officer will be responsible for promoting and selling credit products, assessing client creditworthiness, and managing the loan disbursement and collection process. This position focuses on acquiring new clients, ensuring smooth loan processing, and maintaining strong customer relationships while minimizing risks associated with loan defaults.

Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

Sales and Client Acquisition:


Actively identify and engage potential customers for credit products.
Promote and sell loan products through field visits, referrals, and community events.
Meet and exceed monthly sales targets for loan disbursements.


Credit Assessment and Loan Processing:


Conduct thorough credit appraisals to evaluate clients' financial standing and repayment capacity.
Verify customer information and ensure complete and accurate loan documentation.
Recommend loan approvals or declines based on risk assessment and company policies.


Customer Relationship Management:


Build and maintain long-term relationships with customers to enhance loyalty and retention.
Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries and resolving concerns.
Educate customers on loan terms, conditions, and repayment schedules.


Loan Disbursement and Collections:


Facilitate smooth loan processing from application to disbursement.
Monitor loan repayments and follow up on overdue accounts to minimize defaults.
Implement effective debt recovery strategies in case of delinquencies.


Reporting and Record-Keeping:


Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of loan applications, approvals, and repayments.
Prepare regular sales and portfolio performance reports for management review.
Ensure compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements.


Job Requirements

Qualifications and Experience:


Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Finance, Marketing, or related field.
At least 2 years of experience in credit sales, loan processing, or financial services, preferably in microfinance or banking.
Proven ability to achieve sales targets and manage credit risk.
