We are looking for a General Manager - Operations to coordinate and oversee our business operations.
As an Operational Manager in Greenspace, you will join a fast-paced team focused on accelerating growth and responsible for developing and maintaining our retail and Wholesale customers. The desired candidate will be in charge of overseeing and managing all our Sales and procurement activities, He or She must be organized, and data-driven and has a good knowledge of Agro./ Food services delivery.
What you will be doing:

Develop strategic operational plans aligned with the long-term objectives set by the Board of Directors.
Maintain transparent communication with the MD to ensure awareness of daily operations and progress.
Implement robust operational planning and quality assurance protocols to uphold standards.
Establish and oversee financial planning and control mechanisms.

Ensure all operations are carried on in an appropriate, cost-effective way
Collaborate with the Managing Director (MD) to formulate and execute strategies aimed at fostering the profitable growth and smooth operation of the company.




Maintain transparent communication with the MD to ensure awareness of daily operations and progress.

Oversee our supply chain structure.
Carry out financial analysis to improve profitability.
Develop and implement an operational business plan and monitors achievement to ensure performance and profit objectives are met
Develop and cultivate key relationships within the Agro and Food industry
Collaborate with internal stakeholders, the Sales team, and production team on sales and quality improvement.
Contribute to the overall customer acquisition marketing and growth strategy.
Analyse and report growth success to the management by building and managing the metrics.
Contribute to product development and testing to improve customer experience.
Liaise with vendors to purchase, installation and repairs of equipment in our facilities and farms
Recruit, train, and supervise staff



Our Ideal Candidate

Proven work experience of at least Five (5) years as an Operations Manager or similar role
Knowledge of organizational effectiveness and operations management
Experience budgeting and forecasting.
Familiarity with business and financial principles
Excellent communication skills
Leadership ability
Must have a deep understanding of the FMCG / Agro. Space
Very experienced using ERP tools and Microsoft office suites.

Qualifications :
Education:

A bachelor’s degree in Agric Economics / Entrepreneurship / or related Field
Post Graduate Degree (or an MBA) and /or Professional Qualification

Experience

 Minimum of 5 years’ post-graduation experience

Renumerations:
550 k / Month + Performance incentive
