Job Description

Key duties and responsibilities:


General repair and maintenance of motor vehicles and accessories
Preparation and submission of summary maintenance reports of work done.
Participating in Motor vehicles inspection, technical defect diagnosis, repairs and road testing.
Making recommendations on the required motor vehicle spares for purposes of requisition /procurement.
Ensuring proper housekeeping and waste disposal within the workshop.
Ensuring proper usage and maintenance of workshop tools and equipment.
Ensuring safe work procedures/instructions are adhered to.


Educational Requirements Job Experience/Qualifications


O Level certificate with (minimum KCSE D+ (plus)) with Mathematics and Physics subjects.
Craft Certificate in Auto mechanical Engineering or equivalent from the national examining body (KNEC).
Relevant work experience is an added advantage.
Fulfil the requirements of Chapter Six of the Constitution.
