Job brief
We are looking for a Business Developer to act as the liaison between the company and prospective clients. Your role will be to seek new business opportunities by contacting and developing relationships with potential customers. To be successful in this role, you should have previous experience developing leads from marketing campaigns and meeting sales quotas. You will use your communication skills to cultivate strong relationships with customers, from first contact until you close the deal. You will also ensure proper after-sales service. Responsibilities

Qualify leads from marketing campaigns as sales opportunities
Present, promote and sell products/services using solid arguments to existing and prospective customers.
Contact potential clients through cold calls and emails
Present our company to potential clients
Establish, develop and maintain positive business and customer relationships.
Identify client needs and suggest appropriate products/services
Customize product solutions to increase customer satisfaction
Build long-term trusting relationships with clients
Proactively seek new business opportunities in the market
Set up meetings or calls between (prospective) clients
Report to the Manager on (weekly/monthly/quarterly) sales results
Supply management with reports on customer needs, problems, interests, competitive activities, and potential for new products and services.
Stay up-to-date with new products/services and new pricing/payment plans

Requirements and skills

Bachelor’s Degree in Business or a relevant field.
Proven work experience as a Sales Representative/ Business Development Representative
Familiarity with BRM and CRM practices along with ability to build productive business professional relationships.
Hands-on experience with multiple sales techniques (including cold calls)
Highly motivated and target driven with a proven track record in sales.
Excellent selling, negotiation and communication skills.
Familiarity with MS Excel (analyzing spreadsheets and charts)
Prioritizing, time management and organizational skills.
Ability to create and deliver presentations tailored to the audience needs.
Relationship management skills and openness to feedback.
Must be based in the Lekki/Ajah axis
