Responsibilities

Develop proposals and business cases for civil assets improvements; i.e. lifecycle management and extension strategies as well as long-term strategies necessary for safe and cost-effective implementation of projects within and outside the production plant to achieve company project objectives of sustainable growth
Drive implementation of all single & multi-discipline concepts designed for projects by providing steer to execution teams and contractors in line with international best practices to meet business goals
Provide technical leadership and steer, and approve all conceptual designs and detailed engineering deliverables for all projects as Responsible Technical Authority/Accountable Technical Authority (RTA/ATA) to the project aimed at maintaining LNG assets to meet engineering reference plan targets.
Lead reviews of third-party designs. Proffer strategies to ensure compliance with applicable codes & standards and meet statutory requirements to ensure designs are safe, fit for purpose, and constructible at optimal costs.
Apply RRM principles in particular the Civil-RCM tools to draw up civil assets inspection and maintenance plans to ensure the assets are reliably maintained at optimized life cycle costs, as input for major rejuvenation projects to address obsolescence issues to meet NLNG reliability and availability annual targets.
Interpret and implement regulatory, professional, and best-in-class industry standards, International codes, and practices during projects by benchmarking with industry peers to reduce CAPEX costs to a minimum.
Identify and implement cost optimization initiatives during project conceptualization by eliminating gold plating and nice to have for cost leadership.
Develop and drive implementation of technical assurance plans for projects, manage the HSE and the technical activities in line with flawless project delivery premise.

Requirements

Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering
10 years of post-graduation Civil Engineering experience, out of which at least 5 years must have been spent in designing and supervising visible projects and plant maintenance in the Oil and Gas industry.
