We are seeking one graduate trainee to join our marketing team and work primarily in digital marketing to support our company’s efforts to build its brand. This position is for those who enjoy producing content with a purpose; writing social media posts, blogs, one-pagers, whitepapers, etc. that will leave your audience wanting more; if you can readily translate technical content into business solutions for a CEO, and HR manager; or a CIO and if you are interested in setting and running Google Ads, this role is for you.
Key Tasks and Role

 Participate in the development and execution of the organization’s annual digital marketing plan including Google Ads, SEO, social media, and display/retargeting ads.
Create a thematic social media calendar for Facebook, Google My Business, LinkedIn, and Twitter that aligns with ongoing marketing campaigns.
Collaborating with other teams to create engaging digital content that increases customer engagement and enhances the organization’s online brand. This will include writing blogs, one-pagers, and whitepapers and uploading them to the website.
Work with the broader marketing team to implement strategies to drive traffic to the organization’s website including SEO and Google Ads.
Help the marketing team create email copy, design email templates and conduct A/B testing to optimize email performance and deliverability.
Monitor industry trends and best practices to identify new opportunities to improve our email marketing, SEO, Google Ads, and social media programs
Manage the end-to-end merchandise requisition process including requisition, stock checking, sourcing vendors, negotiating terms, and order and delivery assessment.
Any other duties that might be assigned to you by your line manager

Knowledge & Experience

Ability to write copy that can be used on our preferred communication channels.
Interest and some working experience in digital marketing particularly Google Analytics and Google Ads
Knowledge of  SEO, marketing database, email, social media, and/or display advertising campaigns.
Ability to use graphic design software such as Illustrator and Photoshop or Canva
Familiarity with content management systems such as WordPress
Up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in online marketing and measurement.

Education & Professional Qualification

Should have completed all course work for their Bachelor’s Degree in BCom, Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or related field
Should NOT have graduated more than 1 year ago.
Strong ability to multitask and meet objectives with minimal supervision.
Being keen to work or having previously worked in a supportive environment is a great plus.
