About the Role:
Both Consultants are responsible for Coordinating important stakeholders made up of individuals, groups and organisations to write /to be interviewed for articles to be publish in national dailies and blogs for wider dissemination on the 35 percent affirmative action.
Specific Tasks

Draft and coordinate twenty (20) Feature Blog Articles one (1) monthly of between 750-1500 words each with pictures approved by NWTF to be posted on popular online blogs to generate opinion polls on the judgement.
Draft and coordinate twenty (20) Newspaper Articles (Features) one (1) monthly of between 750-1500 words each with pictures approved by NWTF to be published in three (3) national newspapers to generate public awareness on the judgement.
Coordinate interviews with stakeholders as the need arises.
Share links to the various published features and blog articles.
Submission of the electronic version of the files in an editable version to NWTF.
Preferred newspapers should include, Guardian, Punch, Leadership, Daily Trust.
The blogs to be selected will be in agreement with NWTF

Deliverables:

Submission of an inception Report with workplan that includes a list of topics to be addressed and stakeholders to be consulted for each story line.
Approved inception workplan
Links to the articles to be published reflecting the name of NWTF intext the articles and a mention of the court judgment summarizing the importance of the judgment alongside the key highlights of the judgement.
An end of contract report. 

Educational Qualifications:

A master’s degree in communications, Journalism, Public Relations, International Relations, or a related field.

Experience:

At least 10 years of professional experience in print and electronic media and communications
Editorial, design and publishing experience
PR/Communication/Advertising agency experience
Knowledge and/or Nigerian and global development contexts
The ability to communicate simply, clearly, and effectively with excellent design, written and editing skills.
Strong research skills and ability to work with partners across the country to generate content.
Experience in working with an international development organization/NGO/CSO would be beneficial.
Commitment to NWTF’s mission, vision and values; displays cultural, gender, religion, race, nationality and age sensitivity and adaptability; highest standard of integrity, discretion and loyalty.
Possess solid political acumen, but not partisan.

Core skills:

Knowledge of women’s human rights instruments (international and national).
Strong research, writing, analysis skills in the substantive area
Knowledge of the 6 April Judgement in favour of Nigerian women on the 35 percent affirmative action.

Negotiable and competitive within the sector.
