Job Brief
The Digital Marketing Specialist charged with the responsibility to develop implement, track and optimize our digital campaign across all digital channels. The successful candidate will be expected to develop digital marketing strategic plan, execution plan and sales budget.
Duties & Responsibilities
Develop digital marketing strategic plans and aggressive execution plans, and position digital marketing as the leading distribution channel in the company
Plan digital marketing campaigns, including web, SEO/SEM, email, social media and display advertising
Maintain the company social media presence across all digital channels
Develop performance measurement metrics against market/industry benchmarks
Regularly measuring and reporting on the performance of all digital marketing campaigns
Plan and execute all digital marketing campaigns, including SEO/SEM, marketing database, email, social media and display advertising campaigns
Design, build and maintain our social media presence
Identify trends and insights, and optimize spend and performance based on the insights
Brainstorm new and creative growth strategies
Plan, execute, and measure experiments and conversion tests
Utilize strong analytical ability to evaluate end-to-end customer experience across multiple channels and customer touch points
Build a large database of existing customers including Developers, Contractors, fundis, Hardware Shops, Agribusiness Farms, Movers database, internet generated customer data and any database which may be relevant in achieving the e-mail marketing objectives.
Develop measurable KPIs for the digital marketing team
Desired Qualification
Bachelor Degree with Post graduate diploma in professional Digital Marketing.
Diploma in ICT and proven working knowledge of computer skills
At least 5 years of experience in digital marketing
Experience in sales & marketing would be added advantage.
Good Knowledge of latest digital marketing trends

Very good Business Data Analytics skills which is relevant in decision making
Proven success in Content Creation that will pull the targeted audience to the brand and for the audience to effectively engage
Proven success in implementation of effective Search Engine Optimization & Search Engine Marketing to support all levels of digital marketing
Very good Customer Relationship Management Skills, which helps to monitor and maximize customer experience
Good Communication Skills which help to spread impactful messages, establish trust and build relationships with prospects
Very good understanding of the Social Media Marketing skills and how this can help the company establish its presence in the Social Media Space in order to achieve set KPIs
E-Mail Marketing Skills– continuously develop large customer and prospects database for effective e-mail marketing using the relevant tools
Knowledge of Basic Design Skills would be added advantage, including visual content creation, videography and good knowledge in Adobe Creative Suite, Canvas, Inkscape etc. would be helpful
A Team Player and good Interpersonal Skills
Good appreciation of Emotional Intelligence in people management and good time management skills.
