Qualifications

Bachelors Degree

For appointment to this position, a candidate must have:

Served in the grade of Administrative Officer II for a minimum of two (2) years or other comparable and relevant position in the Public Service or Private Sector;
A Bachelor’s Degree in any Social Science or its equivalent qualification from a recognized Institution;
Demonstrated merit and ability as reflected in work performance and results; and
Meet the requirements of Chapter Six (6) of the Constitution of Kenya 2010; Integrity, Honesty and Accountability.

 Duties & Responsibilities

An officer at this level will be responsible to the Senior Administration Officer for assigned administration function.

Specifically, duties and responsibilities will include:

Monitoring the achievement of divisional targets to ensure realization of organizational goals;
Implementation of administration division resolutions and instructions of the Deputy Director Central Facilitation Services for effective service delivery;
Supervision and provision of staff with visionary leadership that harnesses the strengths of individuals and promotes their performances;
Ensuring general cleanliness of the office to ensure compliance with the Occupation Safety and Health Act and the ODPP policies and to create a conducive working environment for the ODPP;
Providing travel assistance to ODPP staff as required;
Arrange office equipment and furniture to ensure the office is organized and that there is efficient utilization of space; and
Supervising the performance of staff at junior positions in the division.
