Job Description
We are recruiting for a Mid Level Full Stack Software Engineer with excellent experience in Laravel and Vue Js to join our  engineering team.

Duties and Responsibilities

Develop, record and maintain scalable laravel applications both front end and back end.
Build innovative, state-of-the-art applications and collaborate with the rest of the team in writing cross platform APIs for the different applications.
Support existing Laravel Applications and build unto them.
Meet with Project Manager to gather requirements and break down tasks.
Attend review meetings with clients to review progress and action plans.
Convey effectively with all task progress, evaluations, suggestions, schedules along with technical and process issues.
Document the development process, architecture, and standard components.
Train end users where necessary.
Coordinate with rest of the team and keep project manager well informed of the status of all tasks allocated.
Keep abreast of new trends and best practices in web development.

Requirements
The Ideal Candidate

3+ Years of experience with Laravel framework.
2+ Years of experience with Vue JS framework.
Knowledge of front-end web technologies including HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, JQuery, AJAX, Bootstrap etc.
Excellent understanding of MVC design patterns.
Strong experience in integrating with external web applications and writing REST APIs.
Strong database skills working with MySQL or any other relational database, including optimizing big and slow queries.
Experience in working with tools such as Yarn, Composer, Npm etc.
Great understanding of building scalable applications for user bases of over 10K+ users.
Experience in deploying web applications.
Strong understanding of using GIT for version control.
Knowledge in using Jira for project and tasks management.
Educational background: Computer Science, Software Engineering, BBIT or an equivalent. (Degree not a must)
