Job Description
• Manage and monitor the company’s accounting records, payables, receivables, general ledger, and other financial data • Prepare annual budgets and financial forecasts • Process and maintain invoices, bills, payments, and other transactions • Review client accounts for accuracy and possible discrepancies and issues • Accept and review credit and loan applications to determine if clients are eligible • Communicate with clients and answer questions about financial products and services • Manage account and relationships activities with new and existing clients • Prepare and maintain digital and physical records of financial documents • Identify and resolve account issues, queries, and irregularities • Inspect financial documentation to ensure compliance with state and federal laws and regulations • Reconcile bank and credit statements regularly • Analyze financial documentation to provide insights and recommendations for business improvement • Provide support and guidance during financial audits and tax preparation
Skills and Qualifications
• HND or degree in Accounting • Prior working experience as an Account Officer or in a similar role • Exceptional communication and customer service • Ability to work both as a part of a team and independently • Strong analytical skills • Problem-solving • Time management and organization
