Key Responsibilities:

Manage and oversee the daily operations of the Finance department including accounts payable/receivable, cash receipts, payroll and utilities, budgeting, revenue and expenditure variance analysis, and capital assets reconciliations.
Manage all accounting transactions, ensuring compliance with accounting policies and regulations.
Prepare budget forecasts and monitor financial performance against budgets.
Conduct monthly, quarterly, and annual closings with accurate and timely reporting.
Ensure timely bank payments and manage payroll processing for the manufacturing staff.
Compute taxes owed, prepare tax returns, and ensure prompt payment and reporting.
Perform cost accounting tasks; including variance analysis and cost of goods sold calculations.
Analyze financial data to identify trends, perform margin analysis, and recommend strategies to reduce costs and improve profitability.
Maintain internal financial controls and procedures to ensure the integrity of financial reports.
Liaise with external auditors and tax agents for annual audits and compliance matters.
Support management with financial analysis and guidance on profitability, cost reduction, and financial planning and analysis (FP&A).
Oversee accounts receivable and payable, ensuring accurate and timely processing.
Manage inventory accounting, ensuring accurate valuation and cost analysis.

Key Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
CPA K.
Over 5 years’ experience as an Accountant, ideally within a manufacturing setting.
Experience managing a team is a Must.
Experience with accounting software (SAGE Evolution or Pastel).
Import and Export Costing Accounts.
Solid knowledge of financial analysis and forecasting.
