Job Summary/Objective: 
The Senior Human Resource Officer will lead in developing and implementing HR strategies aligned with organizational goals. Responsibilities include overseeing employee relations, recruitment, performance management, training, and benefits administration, ensuring compliance with labor laws. The role aims to enhance employee engagement, foster a positive work environment, and align HR practices with overall business strategy.
Responsibilities/Duties:

Develop and implement strategic HR initiatives aligned with organizational goals.
Manage and oversee employee relations, conducting comprehensive investigations and promoting transparent communication.
Take charge of the complete recruitment life cycle, from sourcing top talent to facilitating their seamless onboarding.
Lead performance management processes, ensuring clarity in expectations, providing constructive feedback, and establishing development plans.
Identify and address training needs, coordinating and executing impactful learning and development programs.
Administer employee benefits, ensuring strict compliance with organizational policies and legal requirements.
Manage and enhance employee welfare programs, fostering job satisfaction and a healthy work-life balance.
Stay abreast of the latest labor laws and regulations, ensuring the organization's compliance.
Develop, update, and effectively communicate HR policies and procedures across the organization.
Elevate employee engagement through strategic initiatives and adept conflict resolution techniques.
Collaborate with the executive team on HR-related matters, actively contributing to overall business strategy.
Support professional development initiatives to augment employee skills and knowledge.
Work closely with legal counsel to address and resolve HR-related legal matters efficiently.
Conduct talent assessments and actively participate in succession planning efforts.
Facilitate employee performance appraisals and goal-setting processes to drive professional growth.
Design and execute recruitment strategies aimed at attracting and securing top-tier talent.
Evaluate the effectiveness of existing HR programs and propose well-founded recommendations for continuous improvement.

Educational Requirements: 

Possession of at least a Higher National Diploma (HND) or a Bachelor's degree (BSc) in Human Resource Management, Personnel Management, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
A Master's degree (M.Sc./MBA) in Human Resource Management or a related field is considered advantageous.

Professional Qualifications: 
Candidates must hold at least 1 recognized professional certification such as: 

Associate, Chartered Institute of Personnel Management - ACIPM
Society for Human Resource Management - Senior Certified Professional - SHRM-SCP
Senior Professional in Human Resources - SPHR
Global Professional in Human Resources - GPHR

ICT Requirement: 

Proficiency in using Microsoft Office tools, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint for data analysis, reporting, and presentations.
Knowledge of HRIS (Human Resource Information System) for efficient data management.
Familiarity with e-recruitment platforms for efficient hiring processes
