Applicants MUST have the following academic/professional qualifications:
An earned Ph.D. degree in Microbiology from a recognized University.

OR

Master’s in Microbiology from a recognized University with at least three (3) years teaching experience at university level or in research or in industry. The Master’sdegree shall have an equivalent in fellowship training where the latter amounts to a period of five (5) years; the fellowship must be recognized by the Medical Council of Kenya/ Kenya Veterinary Board.
Must have current Kenya Veterinary Board (KVB/KVA) retention and membership.
