Hello everyone,

I am currently working as a Strategy Planner at a marketing agency, but I am exploring a career shift towards humanitarian initiatives. My background is in marketing strategy, brand communication, and consumer insights, but I am passionate about work that creates a tangible social impact.

I would love to hear from those who have made a similar transition or have experience in humanitarian work. What are the key skills that transfer well from marketing to this space? What are the best ways to break into the sector—whether through NGOs, international organizations, or grassroots initiatives?

Any advice, resources, or personal experiences would be greatly appreciated!

  • Sounds like you would be a great Medicare agent. Helping and educating Seniors. As an local Medicare resource as your enrollments fall into place... from explaining Medicare choices and options, you will build your monthly lifetime residual income. 50 enrollments = 15k and 100 enrollments =30k lifetime monthly residuals as long as the plan is active.  more
