We are seeking a Marketing and Legal Affairs Manager for our client. The successful candidate will ensure that the company’s marketing activities comply with Ugandan laws and regulations by interpreting legal frameworks, revising marketing systems, and supporting major projects.  Key responsibilities include Market Information Management, Bidding Management, Customer Management, Contract Review, and qualification Management. The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of relevant legal frameworks, including the Constitution of Uganda, 1995, and the Petroleum (Exploration, Development and Production) Act, 2013. Candidates must possess excellent organizational skills, the ability to manage multiple projects, outstanding communication skills in English, and a strategic, proactive approach to problem-solving and risk management.

Interpret Ugandan laws and regulations to ensure that the company’s marketing activities comply with legal standards.
Revise, promote, and implement the company’s marketing systems in accordance with Ugandan laws.
Develop annual market assessment indicators and incentive plans for the company’s marketing function.
Coordinate with Client’s HQ to ensure clear understanding and proper implementation of company regulations in Uganda.
Lead the planning, negotiation, and execution of major contracts and projects in Uganda.
Drive new business opportunities by promoting and bidding for market projects in Uganda and neighboring regions.
Present Client’s technical capabilities and operational capacity to potential clients, fostering business growth in Uganda.
Collaborate with project teams across business lines to ensure successful project execution.
Assist in building and maintaining strong customer relationships, contributing to long-term business success.
