Tasks and Responsibilities

Assists and executes orders for fixed income and equities.
Reviews all activity for accuracy of account information.
Ensures correct ticket entry and order routing.
Maintains communication with sales desk and assists in resolving any settlement problems.
Monitors all daily electronic trading activity and determines where certain trades should be routed for execution.
Reconciles daily and/or monthly reports, as assigned.
Ensures compliance monitoring is in place, including processes for management of operational risk, in accordance with EIB's regulatory standards. 
Provides daily market information to be disseminated to clients through sales team.
Ensures client general satisfaction and proactively seeks business with existing accounts.
Assists in general administrative activity for the trading team. 

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree from a recognized institution
Minimum two years' experience in a busy Equity/ Bond trading desk
CISI 11 qualification
NSE Certification and experience with Bloomberg and Reuters terminals
Ability to effectively communicate in person, via telephone, and/or by email with customers, co-workers, and various business contacts in a courteous and professional manner.
Dynamic and self-starting individual, able to work as part of a team or independently, with strong organizational skills.
Interest in financial markets, competent and reliable staff that is honest and trustworthy.
Knowledge of local market structure and regulatory landscape.
