Work experience
  • I led and managed various key initiatives in the field of digital skills and education. This included spearheading training and support efforts for subject matter specialists to optimize educational delivery and enhance learning experiences through the seamless upload of mobile app content for TVET courses on the LEAP Learning Apps platform. I also served as the Digital Skills Team Lead for the "ILO Prospects" project, focusing on digital skills assessment for refugees, forcibly displaced persons, and host communities in Garissa and Turkana Counties. In addition, I designed technology solutions to support youth in establishing business enterprises within the TVET sector and facilitated the setup of online work enterprises for young women. My roles involved leading digital innovation implementation, instructional design, and e-learning development. This included training welding instructors of TVET institutions to use virtual reality and contributing to the digitization of training curricula across various industry sectors. I played a key role in partnerships and linkages for online training and digital jobs for youth, as well as in the digitization and cataloging of Learning Management System (LMS) content for TVET, life skills, compliance, and career pathways training. Furthermore, I was responsible for web development, instructional design, LMS content development, and technical support for the online Training and Artisan Deployment (OTAD) portal. Lastly, I provided mentorship and capacity development to TTI training consultants and TVET training partners, facilitating the transition from offline training and deployment programs to versatile online deployment and training programs.
