Salary Budget: 840k-1.1m KES per annum
Job Responsibilities:
- Digital Wallet Top-Ups: Manage, process, and communicate daily client wallet top-ups.
- Salary Payments: Manage and execute salary payments for EOR clients across 28+ African countries, ensuring compliance with local regulations and client agreements.
- Statutory Payments: Process and manage statutory payments for EoR and Outsourced clients across 28+ African countries, ensuring compliance with relevant laws.
- Company Expenses: Review, approve, and process company expenses, ensuring all expenditures are authorized, documented, and in line with company policies.
- Reconciliation: reconcile client accounts to ensure accuracy and address discrepancies
- System Payments: Monitor and manage client-initiated payments on the company's system, ensuring timely and accurate processing and addressing any issues that arise.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Professional accounting certification (CPA, ACCA, or equivalent) is preferred.
- 4+ years in a similar customer-facing payroll or payments role, ideally at a fintech.
- Strong understanding of payroll processes, statutory requirements, and reconciliations.
- Extreme attention to detail and accuracy
- Highly proficient at learning and using new software, like Workpay. We also rely heavily on Quickbooks, Profitwell, Google Sheets, Excel, and a range of digital payment tools.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, communication, and interpersonal skills.
