About
A postgraduate student in Microbiology, is dedicated to improving public health, especially for children, by focusing on One Health and combating antibiotic resistance. I possess a strong academic background in fields such as molecular biology, microbiology, and data management, and have experience as a medical laboratory technician. My research interests include understanding and preventing infectious diseases and cancers. After completing a Master's in Public Health and Biostatistics, I seek opportunities to apply the knowledge.
Coming from a low-middle-income country in Africa, I recognize the need for preventive health care education in local communities to reduce mortality and disabilities. My involvement in a community outreach program in Cameroon inspired a passion for impacting lives, particularly for women and girls, linking women's education to international development. In addition to my studies, I tutor biomedical science students and enjoy practical laboratory work. I am committed to hard work, personal growth, and professional development, with a strong belief that "Hard work pays."
