We’re looking for a Junior PR Manager who will be responsible for handling all aspects of PR activities, planned publicity, and marketing campaigns in Kenya.

RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Develop PR campaigns and media relations strategies
2. Get regular free media coverage and follow industry trends
3. Track performance of campaigns and activations by key metrics
4. Collaborate with other team members in the PR and Marketing department
5. Lead execution of local marketing campaigns, activities, and projects including gatekeeping of brand assets like merch and other materials
6. Organize, attend PR events, and serve as company spokesman
7. Build positive relationships with stakeholders, media, and the public
8. Edit and update different kinds of content to match brand guidelines
9. Seek opportunities for partnerships, sponsorship, and advertising
10. Prepare monthly reports on tasks done against objectives

REQUIREMENTS

1. Degree/Diploma in Communications, Public Relations or Marketing
2. 1 year and above experience as a PR officer, marketing officer or account manager with a busy advertising agency
3. Established professional relationships with media agencies in Kenya
4. Superb communication, presentation, writing, and reporting skills
5. Creativity and problem-solving aptitude
6. Ability to work well under pressure and multitask
7. Project and budget management skills
Integrity and professionalism
8. Understanding social media and experience working with bloggers would be a plus

We seek an Executive Personal Assistant to provide comprehensive administrative support to our Regional Manager.


RESPONSIBILITIES
The following are the duties you will be responsible for:
1. Manage the calendar of Executives in Jiji
2. Arrange and coordinate meetings with the Regional Manager
3. Arrange for all travel logistics of Jiji Executives from ticketing, accommodations, meals, airport transfers, and insurance where applicable
4. Apply and keep up-to-date permits and other work-related documents of Jiji Executives
5. Be the first point of contact between the Executives and internal staff, visitors, etc.
6. Ensure executives' office is always stocked, including stationery, refreshments, and equipment, are well maintained, etc.
7. Maintain professionalism and strict confidentiality with all materials, and exercise discretion when interfacing with the business
8. Any other duties assigned

REQUIREMENTS
We believe that you will succeed better if you possess the following:
1. 2 years and above experience as an Executive PA of a busy startup
2. High proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
3. Excellent verbal and written communication
4. Must be able to multitask, be detail-oriented, highly organized, and able to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure, and high-volume environment
5. Go-getter, comfortable taking ownership of projects and expanding the scope of responsibilities.
6. Must have the ability to work independently and prioritize assignments
