  • Responsibilities:
  • Works as the Bor network technician generally.
  • Survey the client's sides and making the decision on the structure and type of network the client should have.
  • Configuring the network's tools i.e. the routers and lite beams and even the network for the clients.
  • Installing the network for the clients.
  • After installation, maintenance is a key and it's my duty to stabilized the links and monitor the network for the clients.
  • Managing and maintaining LAN and MAN.
  • Impacting the knowledge and helping the clients on how to get connected to the network and how to get the internet provider the feedback if need arises.
  • Basics troubleshooting of network and showing the workers at client’s side on how to do basic network troubleshooting.
  • Being a project management and planning student, I also work with project manager's office and provide leadership and teamwork qualities when asked or demanded.

  • Since it is not a permanent work, am reliable trusted person that when call upon for duty and therefore been collecting data of assessment with them since until currently.
  • Using kobo collect, odk and more, I have been collecting data through interviewing the vulnerable civil population in Jonglei state.
  • I have developed analytical skills through the same and therefore my improvement in decision making.
  • My school was a through charity in primary education and later got sponsored by the WIK INTERNATIONAL for my project management and planning degree and therefore through this data collection, I was able to give back to my society and associated with people and that brought me joy. Thanks to UNOPS.
  • Conflict Resolution and teamwork is always a virtue in this kind of work and therefore got it developed and am grateful.

  • Installation of operating systems and updating them when outdated.
  • Installation of antivirus in the school computers at the computer lap and at the departments.
  • Maintaining computer peripherals, I e the printers and mouse and troubleshooting them when not working.
  • Advice the university management and recommends during purchase of ICT equipments.
  • It is my duty to do whatever it takes for the network to work and operates with the network providers
  • Design and topology of the network.
  • Lecturing to students on basic computer skills of management a (unit that is taught to year one students).
  • Helping workers when they are stocked in anything related to the field of ICT in the school
